The Ausonia beach resort has suitable equipment that can be used by people with disabilities; at the front office there is a welcome service with staff with LIS certificate (knowledge of sign language), Marinella deck chairs, maxi umbrellas and king sunbeds, two job chairs to access the water, toilets, cabins, changing rooms and large walkways accessible to people with disabilities.
The Ausonia beach resort has been participating for years in the “Plastic free” Project which aims at eliminating single-use plastic and promotes the use of biodegradable materials.
Our MISSION aims at the use of zero km products, branded “IO SONO FVG”, compostable and recycled materials, also for take away packaging and doggy bags: herbs from the small company garden, reduction of food waste thanks to responsible management of the food area and serving drinks preferably in carafes and on tap; lighting is low energy consumption. “LA TOSTA” Project with the serving of craft beer from Lignano Sabbiadoro, in collaboration with a regional brewery that uses unsold bread for beer production.
Participation in the “Lignano si differenzia” project: separate waste collection activated on the beach in line with the regional “Zero waste” project: reduce, reuse, recycle, repeat. For years we have been participating in the NON SPRECATEMI “Save Water” project in collaboration with the Consorzio Spiaggia Viva di Lignano Sabbiadoro.
